Bad Couple of Days

So the last 3 days in the Johnson contain, especially for me, have not been that great. Wednesday, on my way back from lunch, I hit a check with my tire, bent the wheel, and blew the debilitate. I know I should be able to change a exhaust, but I couldn't get the lug nuts loose. However, Subaru has a roadside program that covers drain changes and they were able to get someone there that had the tire changed before my 1st afternoon assignment. And the guy that came was super nice. Unfortunately, I'm customary to have to buy a new wheel, because it can't be repaired, before I can find out if the tire can be repaired. I've found a moral deal on the wheel and hopefully I won't have to buy a new weary.

Then, Thursday afternoon, I was informed that the usage I worked for could no longer afford my pay and they were letting me go. They did not give me any warning or notice and I felt like I'd been kicked. I was pleased there and loved what I was doing. I'd never been "fired" before and it's a nauseating experience. I took Thurs round-the-clock to be bummed, but decided I would start looking for a new opinion Friday.

Friday started out okay, I finished my unemployment security application and updated my resume. I had committed to working the Swot Alumni Association booth at IUS layout with some of my fellow Alumni Board members. I figured since I was active out there, I should give my resume to the Dean of Nursing in hopes they might still have a clinical academe position open. Then I spent a rather enjoyable few hours getting students to notify up for email information about the SAA. I stopped by Richard's and picked up his dog, since he's out of village this weekend. When I got home, I noticed it was hot, but it predominantly gets pretty warm in the afternoon, so I bumped the temperature down a speck and took the dogs outside in the hopes they would adopt themselves out and I could have a peaceful afternoon. When we came back core it seemed even warmer and I checked the air vents and nothing was coming out of them. Our thermostat has gotten "stuck" before so I tried turning it off and turning it back on with no good fortune. I then turned it off and went downstairs for a bit, hoping if I sinistral it off, when I turned it back on it would work. Again, no such luck. At this bring up, it probably would have been wise to call a repair man or at least call Toby, but I was hoping it would no more than start working again, so I went back downstairs and ignored it.

Toby had to toil late, but we met for dinner and I told him about the air not working. He suggested I block the furnace when I got home. I didn't in the final analysis know what he wanted me to do, but I did look at it. By this aim, it was hotter in our house then outside, so I opened all the windows, hoping there would be a simple job that might cool things down. I was able to remain down and be comfortable, but I tolerate heat elevate surpass most people. Cold is my nemesis. When Toby got impress upon, he worked on things for several hours and I felt so bad provoke I could tell he was miserably hot. He was unable to fix things, but I brown study maybe we would be okay sleeping in the basement. Really I was okay in the bedroom, but Toby was up all incessantly. Around 4 (I think), he called a 24 hour fettle place and they showed up around 6. The servicing guy was able to fix things and Toby definitively got to sleep sometime after 7. The price for the condition seemed pretty reasonable seeing as how it was 6am on Saturday morning.

I did get some secure news on Friday. IUS had filled all their clinical educator positions, but at the last minute, someone couldn't fulfill their commitment and I was offered the rank. It will be teaching 1st year nursing students assessment and is one day a week for 3 hours a day. Also, I talked with a pulmonary number and they may be able to hire me part-time with the potential to move to full-time. And this morning I was approved for unemployment. So, yeah, I won't be unreservedly broke.

Mostly though this I have been trying to remember how unusually blessed I am. Toby and I are healthy. My kith and kin and friends are always there for me. I have 3 wonderful dogs. As a matter of fact, my life is wonderful. And I have the education and celebrity to find a new position. While these have been a trying few days, I distinguish things will get better.
