The RV and Motor Home Museum (RVMH) in Elkhart, Indiana
After spending a week in Manistee MI, at the Minuscule River Casino RV Park to put in order financial statements & do some tax planning for clients, we are heading for Refuge Clinton, OH. On the way, we decide to stop in Elkhart, Indiana to drop in on the RVMH Museum. We have spoken to several people who have visited & all accord it is an excellent museum well worth stopping to see.

Fortunately we can stay for the non-stop, which is a good thing as we arrive only minutes previous to to closing time.

The next morning, we are the first to show up & start to enjoy the exhibits. The undivided history up to the 1990s are displayed in both pictures & tangible vehicles.

Except for very rare models, you are allowed to boardwalk into the exhibits

This new museum is a doll-sized over a year old. Formerly, the museum was located in downtown Elkhart; but they speedily grew out of the facilities & to our good fate, this new museum was built.

The most provocative displays, however, are the rolling stock. Some of these RV’s have been restored, some are being conserved. Most are in driving form & have been generously donated.

elhart gmc: One and a half laps. I had a entirely! This was my first time on a road course. I detuned the truck to about a "high 12 later" performance level because I was running stock brakes (which I severely melted and have since upgraded). The driving here isn't my most outstanding because I usually take it easy to warm up for the first half lap, but I only had one opportunity to get a sweet chase-cam like this! The selection 700-R4 transmission and air to water intercooler did a great job, despite running a come to of 200 miles of racing over the weekend!
