goddammit, why does it have to downpour when my wife (still getting used to saying that, but I make up I rather like the sound of it!) has an entire weekend off? Well, perchance we can use it as an excuse to do the last of the wedding/moving in together humbug. Three big boxes of my books have to go into storage, as does an Ikea dining record. Have to get the rest of our flatware, have to get some artwork from Maui framed, have to get the puppy groomed, over-decorated busy busy
Southern blots lastly working - just have to expose a bit longer, and deliver somewhat more stringently. Better than a resourceless piece of film though!!!! There might in truth be a chance that I can pull some decent results together, and not have my commission tear me a new one when I finally schedule another council meeting!!!!
Lots of travelling planned (although I cant in conflict with any of it, and dont have time anyway!). Fuckit, it keeps my strife (there it is again!) from going insane, gives her something to look audacious to. The asshole chief tried to mangle her a new one at sign-out, for not ordering chest X-rays on a stoical who had been getting 250mls normal saline per hour, and was oxygen sat'ing at 90%. This consideration the fact that Dr. Z had asked the chief earlier if he though X-rays were compulsory, and he said nope, just give her some meds......
Anyway, we're off to Maine in two weeks, rented a ungenerous cottage on the water up in Dameriscotta. Captivating the puppy with us - she can chase crabs on the littoral :P
Back from there on Wednesday the 4th, do my Green Card check out on the 5th, and fly out to San Francisco on the 6th, assuming that I'm not being deported!!!!!!!! Conjunction up with my ex-ropegun, Billy Chen. Can't on he hasn't climbed anything since he left NY. He's talking about HIKING up Half Dome for God's well-being!!!!!!
Also heading for Belize, in December, staying at the ultra-swank Turtle Inn, owned by Francis Ford Coppalla. I sine qua non some pampering!!! Should be fun too, can go hiking in the downpour forest, do some diving if the vis is OK, maybe get Doc Barry out snorkelling or kayaking...........
Concern to think of it, having something to look nourish to stops me going insane too!
