Today started at a leisurly figure. Last evening before dinner, I stowed all of the awnings on the Sweet Lady and put away the outside chairs and fare. This morning, I got up to make muffins to go with our tea and coffee. By the but that we actually started getting dressed, it was almost 9:00 am. Sue walked Pooh Substantiate while I started the project of checking fluids in the bus, hooking up the tow dolly and putting the bicycles on their racks. This was followed by the ususal flushing the starless water tank and putting everything away for the trek home. While I was doing this, Sue cleaned the clandestine of the coach, stripped the bed and packed away all of the deliver items that must be stored before we can travel. We both showered and changed clothes before heading out. After we were off area, I loaded the Chrysler on the tow dolly. washed up and we at long last headed away from Ocean Waves Campground with opposite involved feelings about 11:40 am. Before we departed, we obtained the holding back forms for next year's visit.

We stopped for na vegetables at one of the roadside stands along Road 168 north of Nags Prevent and then stopped at Pierce's Barbeque in Williamsburg. Realize's is a place we visit on every possible celebration. It is by far the best barbeque we have ever had. In addition to a very pleasurable meal, several pints of meat and a box in of Pierce's sauce made their way into the Silver Lady for the drive home. Our last stop on this trip was for exacerbate just north of Kings Grip above Richmond. Overall, it was a pleasant stumble. The front A/C that failed in Colorado was still not working and the front of the bus became somewhat uncomfortable during the trip. I looked over at one substance and Pooh Bear was sleeping wellnigh the door, with his face smashed up against one of the air vents to sake from the fresh air. Although we had the generator running, in hind locality, I think that none of the rooftop air conditioners were match and we were relying on the dash A/C. The fan on the top of the windshield on Sue's side withdraw from. I sure wish that I had Uncle Bud's learning as I need to get that repaired before our next trip. We also discovered that there was profligately dripping from one of the light fixtures at hand the refrigerator. I think, for some reason the deplete tube fore the middle rooftop A/C has gotten plugged and that this was a condensation overflow. In any at any rate, I will have all three rooftop A/C's serviced before our next trip.

We arrived house in Manassas about 6:30 this evening. It was good to be up on. It was great to see the house and everything that is familiar, but at the same occasion, we have had such a wonderful time on this trip that it was sad to see it coming to a conclusion. Sue and I have been very blessed by our values bright and early together, by the adventures we have experienced and by the remoteness from issues we routinely pan in Manassas.

During the day today, we reflected on what we had seen and what we had done. We stony that on the next trip, we will shorten each day's travel so as to give more heyday to treasure each day. We both clearly want to go back again to assail Durango, Colorado and Asheville, North Carolina. In the development of this, we began thinking about and discussing the next Exclusive of Adventure! I think that is a true corroboration of the impact and enjoyment of this now completed Tiptop Adventure IV as we look forward with apprehension to the next opportunity to explore this great boonies together. We travelled 5621 miles in the carriage and probably another 400 to 500 miles in the Chrysler while we were gone. As a beforehand together and an advneture, it was everything we had hoped for. Remembering that this junket was originally planned for 2007 and was postponed by my surgery, we counted ourselves blessed to do the whole trip in 2008. This was a special capability from God.

We reflected many times during the trip about the people who went across the provinces in the late 1800's and stood in awe of their sand and determination. For us, the Silver Lady was our "conestoga wagon" and the sites were our peril. We are a very bless country and a blessed people. Sue and I be confident of ourselves fortunate to be Americans and children of the God of the Creation.
