Key to the Hills Rod Run
Tonight we went to the Key to the Hills Rod Run in Boerne, TX! 
It is 'old-time cars at their best, over 500 pre 1949 avenue rods from all over the country'. Boerne is a cunning little town so we thought it would be fun to range around, and we enjoy seeing old, fantastic looking cars too so the combo intrigued us!
This red strength (above) is a 1930 Model A. We were oohing and aahing at it when the possessor came over with a big smile, opened the door and offered to let us sit in it! I made solid to stress to Logan how incredibly boss that was because these cars are SOOO nice and have a whole lot of employment and pride put into them and this guy let us sit in it. (And he gave the girls lollipops) This red hot rod ended up being our favorite! Unbelievably sweet looking ride isn't it?!

Logan thinking this yellow hot rod was a lot of fun...and immediately noticed that it does NOT have chair belts.

HOTROD CADILLAC
cadillac 500 hot rod: This is my 78 Deville that's run a best of 10.34 @ 127 with a 500 inch Caddy motor, no power adder, .040 over 500 inch Caddy, 13.6 comp, 950cfm Holley, ported works heads, T/D shaft roller rockers, dual plane Edelbrock intake, T400 trans and a 3.70 materials. Its got a full factory interior with the exception of the two Kirkey racing seats & 6 element rollbar. Still has the power door locks & windows, electric trunk freedom and pulldown. Need a better camera man! haha
